In a world where digital connections often replace face-to-face interactions, finding a meaningful way to show love and appreciation for our friends and family can be challenging. Custom curated gift boxes offer a unique, personalized way to celebrate relationships and create memorable experiences, all from the comfort of home. Not only are these boxes thoughtful and fun, but they're also a cost-effective alternative to traditional flower deliveries.

What is a Custom Curated Gift Box?
A custom curated gift box is a carefully selected collection of items designed to deliver a specific experience. Unlike generic gifts, these boxes add a personal touch that can make the receiver feel truly special and thought of.

Why Choose a Custom Sit Look Drink Gift Box Over Flowers?
While flowers are a beautiful, classic gift suitable for many occasions, they can be expensive to send and their beauty is fleeting. Custom gift boxes, on the other hand, can provide a lasting impression. They are not only more affordable but can also be enjoyed over a longer period.

Crafting the Perfect Sit Look Drink Gift Box
Imagine your loved one opening a box that enhances their moments of relaxation. Each box begins with an aesthetically pleasing glass that fits the occasion – be it a fun wine glass, a charming vintage cocktail glass, a classic pint glass or a sturdy mug for their morning brew. Additional items in the box are selected to incorporate an enjoyable moment, a scented candle, accented festive lights and treats.

Benefits Beyond the Box
The beauty of a custom curated gift box lies not only in its contents but also in its ability to bridge distances, a way to be there in spirit. Whether it’s for a birthday, a special occasion, or just because, a custom curated Sit Look Drink gift box can create a cherished memory. So next time you're thinking of sending flowers, remember that sometimes, the best moments come in boxes, ready to be unwrapped and enjoyed, one delightful item at a time.

<![CDATA[CARMEL BY THE SEA: A FAIRYTALE SEASIDE TOWN]]>Sun, 12 Feb 2023 05:00:00 GMThttp://sitlookdrink.com/blog/carmel-by-the-seaHog's Breath Inn Courtyardoutdoor seating in the courtyard of the Hog's Breath Inn
SIT HERE: Carmel by the Sea, CA
LOOK THERE: Hog's Breath Inn Courtyard
DRINK THIS: Carmel Road Pinot Noir Wine

I have been coming to Carmel by the Sea for over 40 years, not like most tourists to explore the beautiful seaside towns along the coast, but because of my connection to the Carmelite Monastery on Highway One, where my sister is a cloistered nun. Each time I visit here, I discover something more beautiful about the fairytale like town on the Monterey peninsula.

Carmel by the Sea is well known for its seaside views with fairytale cottages designed by Hugh Comstock, and endless art galleries. There are the usual sites, driving Seventeen Mile Drive, strolling the streets of downtown, and putting your feet in the sand at Carmel Beach. However, it is the hidden gems that deliver the best memories.

I start early in the morning with breakfast at The Little Swiss Café, a favorite of the locals. While enjoying your morning coffee, notice the four season Dutch landscape murals painted by André Balyon. Be sure to find the little characters painted into the murals. As you stroll through town wander through the secret passages and discover what awaits through the Looking Glass.

Sit in the courtyard of the Hog's Breath Inn and enjoy a meal and a glass of wine under the beautiful trees at the pub that was once owned by Clint Eastwood, actor and former mayor of Carmel. If you drive a little farther south down Highway 1, you will find Monastery Beach named after the Carmelite Monastery high up on the hill. Enjoy the views but don't go in the water, it is nicknamed "Mortuary Beach" and considered one of the most dangerous beaches in California, appearing calm but with strong rip currents that will pull swimmers out to sea. Finish your day with a walk just before sunset at Carmel Meadows Trailhead. Sit on one of the benches and watch the sun go down and don't forget to bring your favorite cocktail and just take it all in.

<![CDATA[Morning Coffee with a view...]]>Tue, 04 Oct 2022 17:57:40 GMThttp://sitlookdrink.com/blog/morning-coffee-with-a-view
SIT HERE: Pittsfield, MA USA
LOOK THERE: Onota Lake
DRINK THIS: Morning Coffee

There is something quiet and peaceful about coming back repeatedly to this view, waking up on Onota Lake and having a cup of morning coffee. Pittsfield, MA, a town in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts is nicknamed "the Heart of the Berkshires" the largest city and center of the Berkshires. The Berkshires, which is part of the Appalachian Mountains, is known for its natural beauty, fall foliage, outdoor activities and culture. Pittsfield is home to one of the oldest July 4th parades, dating back to the early 1800s as well as some would say the birthplace of baseball. A document discovered in Pittsfield stated that the sport of baseball was played in 1791 in Pittsfield, MA. The famous Wahconah Park built in 1919 is one of the last ballparks in the United States with wooden seats. Onota Lake meaning "the place where fishermen live" is the largest lake in the Berkshires. It was home to Camp Onota where legendary composer and music conductor Leonard Bernstein worked as a music counselor for the camp in the 1930s.

<![CDATA[DRINK THIS: How About Coffee]]>Wed, 13 Oct 2021 23:31:10 GMThttp://sitlookdrink.com/blog/drink-this-how-about-coffeeI love a beer or a glass of wine, but I have coffee every day. According to the National Coffee Association (yes, there is an association) 64% of Americans drink coffee on a daily basis, drinking nearly 400 million cups EVERY SINGLE DAY.

When we think about the where we want to SIT, LOOK and DRINK, we shouldn’t forget that some of the best drinks we have are taking in the morning coffee, enjoying breakfast, hanging at the coffee shop or sitting on the deck watching the sunset.

We're not just about having a cocktail, beer or wine, it’s about the joy of having any of our favorite beverages...it’s about enjoying a drink. ]]>
<![CDATA[THE EVOLUTION OF A SONG (PART 2): ANYTHING WORTH DOING IS WORTH DOING TO EXCESS]]>Sat, 02 Oct 2021 20:07:40 GMThttp://sitlookdrink.com/blog/the-evolution-of-a-song-part-2-anything-worth-doing-is-worth-doing-to-excessSo, we had a song. My buddy went back to his home studio (yes, he has game) and took our little song and added instrumentation, drums to hold the beat, new vocals, bridges between the verses and even a tambourine – who doesn’t love a tambourine?

Then it started to roll. We launched an Instagram site with just a few pictures from places our friends and family had been with sunsets, mountains, lakes and oceans while drinking coffee, cocktails, beer and wine. As we celebrated a world opening up, photographers and followers started sharing their Sit Here, Look There, Drink This pictures from across the country and around the globe, including Belgium, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland and Thailand.

Next, we found a designer and created logos, pictures and drawings for some T-Shirts at our online store. And now, we’ve turned our song into a Music Video with some of those same pictures.
When we wrote the song, we said we’d keep doing this “as long as it was fun.” So far, it’s only gotten better and better. As we take an Old Saying and Turn it Into a New Song, here’s to you and others joining us for the journey… and if you run into Jimmy Buffet and Darius Rucker ask them if they’re looking for a new song.
