SIT LOOK DRINK: where does it come from?

Several years ago, we were heading to the beach with another couple. We had seven young children between us, half a dozen chairs, blankets, multiple coolers, a tent and we were about a half mile from the beach. Once we schlepped everything up, we then had to race across the hot sand, stake out a spot and get everything in place.

The chairs were positioned, the tent popped up, the coolers put in place and the kids covered in sun tan lotion. My buddy asked, “So, what do you want to do?”

I turned around and told him, “I want to Sit Here, Look There, Drink This.” I sat in my beach chair, looked out at the ocean and reached into the cooler for a beer.

All in all, a day well done.
